Programme Director – Longevity R&D

Role Overview

The Programme Director opportunity is an excellent chance to join a company at the beginning of our journey. This is an impactful position that will be influential across the company because it holds the responsibility for Programme Delivery. These programmes cover the entire range of scientific areas we are investigating as well as specific Medicine 3.0 programmes. We are seeking a Programme Director who has experience of managing diverse R&D programmes within the Biotech sector. You will be responsible for the coordination & delivery of diverse programmes. As the Programme Director you will liaise with our founder to ensure communication is clear to the wider team. This is a dynamic role where you will have the freedom to deliver as you see fit, introduce innovation, and processes where necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the relevant team members to manage all programmes of varying levels of complexity.
• Develop & Define the strategy for the programme with the individual team member / members as relevant.
• Track the progress of projects against the plan, intervene where necessary, and provide regular reporting.
• Identify & highlight project risks to develop strategies to mitigate these through contingency planning and decision making.
• Facilitate cross-functional team meetings, providing updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Capture all key decisions and keep an action tracker that is proactively managed.

Essential criteria

• BSc or high qualification in a relevant life science
• Experience of working in the Biotech or Pharma sector
• Demonstrable experience in the management of R&D programmes
• The ability to manage complex multi party programmes and coordinating with multiple partners.
• Experience of working in areas such as the Microbiome or Neurology or Ageing or Longevity is advantageous.
• Experience of working in a start up or small company is advantageous
