Perfusionist – Contractor

We are looking for a perfusion technician to join our NY lab as a contractor for this exciting journey to support the development of medicines for one of the most pressing healthcare challenges of our time.

The work includes but is not limited to:

• Manage perfusions during overnight and weekend shifts (10-12 hour shifts)
• Sample collection from ongoing perfusions.
• Assisting with the surgical preparation of livers for perfusions

About you

Prior experience with perfusion is a plus however all training will be provided.

Required Skills

• Biology degree (undergraduate) or healthcare certification (e.g. nursing, paramedic, EMT, scrub technologist, surgical technologist)
• Experience in a lab environment or healthcare setting required.
• Able to handle specimens using aseptic techniques
• Organised and methodical approach to work and record keeping
• A positive can-do attitude and a willingness to learn are essential
• High-level of attention to detail
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to new situations
• Good communication skills
