As part of our innovative research programs in liver diseases, we are seeking an Assistant Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully conducting research in biology or pharmacology. Through this role, the Assistant R&D Project Manager contributes to the characterization and preclinical development of pharmacological compounds of interest, under the supervision of the Project Manager. The Assistant R&D Project Manager works daily with Project Managers and Platform Managers, particularly to analyse, format, and write up experimental data.
MISSIONS:
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Participate in research projects to characterize the activity or mechanisms of action of pharmacological compounds of interest, answer specific scientific questions;
- Write/review experimental protocols and write/validate preclinical study reports in collaboration with Genfit’s technological platforms or service providers;
- Ensure operational monitoring of programs by managing (planning and monitoring) the progress of experiments carried out by technological platforms;
- Carry out post-hoc analyses of experimental results (combination of different studies, correlations of different parameters, etc.) and produce reports including data from scientific literature;
- Participate in the writing of scientific articles and summaries, and prepare communication materials for international conferences;
- Contribute to the scientific monitoring of the project.
PROFILE :
- You hold a Doctorate in Life Sciences or a Master’s degree with at least 5 years of professional experience including editorial assignments;
- You have good theoretical and practical knowledge of in vitro experiments (cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry) and animal experiments (rodents);
- You have already written scientific documents (articles or reports) and you demonstrate excellent writing skills in English and French;
- You have the ability to acquire, use and synthesize specific knowledge in key scientific fields;
You are proficient in statistical analysis tools (Prism, R would be a plus); - You know how to identify priorities and adapt quickly and effectively to program changes;
- You express yourself fluently in English and French (minimum level C1) and know how to communicate easily in writing and orally;
- Good knowledge in the fields of hepatology, development of pharmacological compounds or immunology are assets for this position;
- Autonomy, rigor and team spirit will be essential to successfully carry out the missions entrusted to you.
