Responsibilities
- Algorithm Development: Design, develop, and validate image analysis algorithms for quantifying histological features in whole-slide images using Visiopharm
- Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret imaging data and support research and clinical understanding of histopathological endpoints
- Software Integration: Collaborate with the data scientist team to integrate image analysis algorithms into Rubedo’s ALEMBIC platform.
- Collaborative Research: Work closely with the histology team, pathologists, and other researchers to understand their needs and develop tailored image analysis solutions.
- Validation and QA: Perform validation and quality assurance of image analysis algorithms to ensure accuracy, reproducibility, and robustness.
- Documentation and Reporting: Document methods, results, and software in detailed technical reports and SOPs. Present findings to internal l teams.
- Stay Updated: Keep informed of the latest developments in digital pathology, image analysis, and related fields. Apply new techniques and technologies to improve existing workflows.
Minimum Requirements
- More than 3 years of experience in digital pathology and image analysis.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing image analysis algorithms in a research or clinical setting.
- Proficiency in image analysis software and tools (preferentially Visiopharm and graphing tools such as GraphPad Prism, MS Excel, Google Sheets).
- Familiarity with histopathology and digital pathology workflows.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present complex technical information to a diverse audience.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Preferred Experience And Skills
- Preferred experience with histology techniques and wet lab work.
- Preferred experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) for image analysis.
