Data Analyst

The Role

We’re looking for a strategic, driven, and curious Data Analyst to become the founding member of our analytics function. As our first data hire, you’ll have a front-row seat in shaping how data powers every decision across the business. You’ll collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams (Marketing, CX, Finance, and Operations) to uncover insights, define KPIs, build dashboards, and bring clarity to decision-making across the business.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale our analytics infrastructure — owning data flow from query to insight
• Develop and maintain core dashboards and reporting in Looker
• Integrate from Shopify, Klaviyo, GA4, paid marketing channels, and other sources into a unified, decision-ready view
• Partner with marketing and ops teams to forecast performance and inform weekly/monthly planning
• Conduct Deep-dive analyses to proactively identify blind spots, trends, and optimization opportunities in business performance.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline reporting across the org
• Establish best practices and build scalable processes as the team grows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
• 4+ years of Analytics experience
• Proficiency with Shopify and related platforms
• Expert proficiency with SQL, experience with Redshift and BiqQuery
• Experience working in AWS
• Experience Python and/or R a plus
• Experience with data visualization software such as Looker
• Ability to align analytics with strategic business goals and to influence decision-making with data-driven recommendations
• Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized. Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
