As part of the development of our legal department, we are looking for an Experienced Contract Lawyer on a fixed-term contract of at least 10 months to support the growth of our activities and the expansion of our portfolio of Research & Development programs, in an international and dynamic environment.
MISSIONS:
Your main mission is to draft, review and negotiate all types of operational agreements, in compliance with the Group’s regulations, objectives and internal procedures, and in partnership with the relevant operational teams, under the responsibility of the Director of Legal Affairs.
Depending on the files assigned to you, you are responsible for all or part of the legal lifecycle of the operational agreement, from the expression of the need to its signature, alone or in pairs. You work daily with all members of the legal team and collaborate ad hoc with the operational teams behind the projects assigned to you.
You will be involved in a wide variety of operational agreements: Master Services Agreements with Contract Research Organizations or Contract Development Manufacturing Organizations, Clinical Trial Agreements, Confidential Disclosure Agreements/Non Disclosure Agreements, Material Transfer Agreements, laboratory service agreements, consultancy contracts, etc.
You work on other cross-functional topics and activities in business law, depending on the needs and current events of the department.
PROFILE :
- You have a higher legal education such as a Master’s, Master’s II, and/or DJCE in France or abroad. A degree in health law would be a plus;
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device industry; or even in a law firm;
- You have a solid overall understanding of the legal implications of business operations and an excellent understanding of contracts involving intellectual property law and the management of personal data;Your experiences have allowed you to develop a certain versatility and good reflexes in business law in general;
- You express yourself fluently in English and French, both written and spoken, your vocabulary is contemporary and adapted to an international working environment, and you know how to convince and advise your internal stakeholders;
- You have had the opportunity to demonstrate the following professional qualities during your professional experience: rigor, autonomy, writing skills;
- Ability to achieve results within deadlines and manage a wide variety of legal issues;
- Team spirit;
- Ability to carry out various tasks in parallel requiring versatility and practicality;
- Strong listening skills and ability to adapt to changing situations.
