What You’ll Do
Patient Consultations & Holistic Health Assessments
- Conduct pre- and post-imaging consultations, translating Whole Body MRI findings into clear, patient-friendly insights.
- Complete comprehensive health screening assessments, offer evidence-based preventive health guidance , and follow-up care recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with Consultant Radiologists and other healthcare specialists to ensure excellent and comprehensive patient care.
Clinical Oversight & Medical Expertise
- Integrate insights from whole body MR imaging with lifestyle, metabolic and environmental health factors to provide exceptional, holistic and patient-centred care.
- Interpret Whole Body MRI scan reports within the primary care context and recommend follow-up care including further diagnostic testing if necessary, working in conjunction with our Consultant Radiologists.
- Provide evidence-based advice and personalised health strategies to educate and empower patients.
- Stay up to date with advancements in preventive and functional medicine including imaging and diagnostics for health promotion and early disease detection.
Patient-Centered Care
- Address patient concerns with compassion, clarity, and professionalism.
- Educate patients on preventive health measures and lifestyle modifications.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless continuity of care.
Collaboration & Innovation
- Work closely with Consultant Radiologists, MRI Radiographers, and clinical staff to enhance the overall patient experience.
- Participate in the development of clinical protocols, patient education materials, and operational workflows.
- Support the training of Advanced Clinical Practitioners and participate in clinical governance activity.
What You’ll Bring
- Licensing and Qualifications: You must be a General Practitioner (GP) registered with the UK General Medical Council (GMC), holding a license to practice and be on the GMC’s General Practitioner Register. You should have a Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent), MRCGP qualification or equivalent and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a General Practitioner (GP) or in a relevant hospital setting.
- Revalidation and Appraisal: You must be up-to-date with your annual appraisals and GMC revalidation.
- Continuous Professional Development: You must stay current with your Continuing Professional Development requirements as a practicing GP in the UK.
- Experience in private practice, corporate health or advanced screening clinics is highly desirable.
- Commitment to exceptional patient care and ethical medical practices.
- Background or strong interest in preventive and functional medicine, with a passion for diagnostics and personalised, holistic care.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to support, reassure and educate patients. .
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
