Lead, Global Strategic Planning & Administration
The Opportunity:
As the Global Strategic Planning and Administration Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading strategic planning and administration activities within our Medical team. You will collaborate cross-functionally to provide leadership and guidance on non-project initiatives, ensuring effective communication of Medical Affairs activities across various levels of management. Your strategic insights will be crucial in aligning our goals with Astellas’ Corporate Strategic Plan.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of Medical Affairs organizational strategic plans.
- Lead initiatives related to the Medical Affairs strategic roadmap and provide high-quality reports to management.
- Collaborate with divisions outside of Medical to ensure alignment and best practices.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in a global setting or Consulting background.
- Demonstrable Project management experience. Strong reporting and data analysis experience.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrix organization.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information and craft compelling narratives.
- A strategic thinker with a commitment to high performance and impactful outcomes.
Preferred Experience:
Lean six sigma tools and practices.
Education/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree – Science preferred or equivalent.
Additional Information:
- This is a permanent, full-time position.
- This position is based in United Kingdom.
- This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 1 day per quarter in our Addlestone office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs.
