Oncology Product Specialist

The Opportunity:

As the Product Specialist you will be reporting directly to the Sales Lead and be responsible for regional sales achievement across Alexandria, Egypt whilst managing the Oncology portfolio. The position will be based out of Alexandria.

Key Activities:

• Conduct pharmaceutical sales for the company and meet the sales targets
• Increase brand awareness and build a relationship with prospective and existing customers.
• Ensure that proper advertising and marketing are done through the medical product sales.
• Meet pharmaceutical sales targets, negotiate contracts, review pharmaceutical sales job performance, and draft reports on the same.
• Manage customer interactions in line with regional planning to ensure high impact sales calls.
• Maintain superior product and disease knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams when required.
• Conduct all activities in an ethical and compliant manner.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

• Proven experience within pharmaceutical sales having worked with a global pharmaceutical organization in Egypt.
• Good written & verbal communication skills
• Experience with CRM & Veeva systems
• Strong negotiation and organization skills.
• Collaborative & Proactive in nature.

Preferred Experience:

• Knowledge and experience in Oncology would be highly desirable.
• Product launch experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently.

Education:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Additional information:

This is a permanent, full-time position.
Candidates should be based in Alexandria, Egypt.
This position is a field based in Alexandria, Egypt with frequent travel up to 70% across the region.
Flexibility may be required in line with business needs.
