Position Description:
The Principal Biostatistician will be responsible for providing statistical data analysis expertise to support assigned studies. This role will work with cross functional study teams for data collection and analysis to ensure rigorous quantitative analyses in decision making for clinical studies. In addition, this individual may collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure a timely execution of study protocols and study statistical strategies to advance exciting drug candidates in clinical development programs.

We are seeking a creative and innovative statistical scientist to assist project teams towards efficient strategies for data integration across multiple platforms with the ultimate goal of deriving meaningful inferences about the human condition.
Responsibilities:
- Provide statistical input for clinical study design
- Develop and review statistical analysis plan for assigned studies
- Perform ad-hoc analyses and/or simulations for assigned studies
- Effectively collaborate with external vendors and partners
- Contribute as a member of assigned study or project team
Position Requirements:
- PhD in Biostatistics/Statistics or equivalent with at least 4 years relevant work experience, or MS in Biostatistics/Statistics with at least 6 years relevant work experience, in a research environment, pharmaceutical industry, or equivalent academic/applied statistics/statistical consulting experience
- Thorough understanding of statistical principles and clinical trial methodology with the ability to practice and implement them
- Strong technical skills, including general linear and mixed models, Bayesian statistics, multivariate models, high-dimensional data analysis, with the ability to develop innovative/creative statistical/technical solutions to complex problems
- Ability to evaluate priorities, resolve conflicts, and adapt to changes
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a team structure with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Must be willing to work onsite at least four days a week
The estimated base salary range for this role is $198,000 – $207,000. Actual pay will be based on a number of factors including experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for two annual cash bonuses.
