The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and execute experiments investigating cellular and organismal metabolism
- Prepare metabolomics and lipidomics samples from tissues, cells, and biofluids and analyze them by LC-MS/MS
- Conduct mammalian tissue culture and perform standard molecular biology techniques (e.g. nucleic acid extraction, western blot, ELISA)
- Assist with in vivo experiments, including handling/monitoring mice, tissue collection
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, prepare figures for, and present at internal meetings
