Senior Salesforce Software Engineer/Developer (Remote – Full-Time)

Job Overview
We are looking for an accomplished Senior Salesforce Software Engineer/Developer to lead the design, architecture, and development of enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in Salesforce development, integrations, and system architecture. You will act as a technical leader, driving innovation and ensuring that all solutions align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Define, design, and implement robust Salesforce architectures and scalable solutions that address complex business challenges.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive technical designs, ensuring alignment with business requirements and Salesforce best practices.
- Advanced Development: Lead the development of advanced custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Aura, while adhering to coding standards.
- Integration Expertise: Spearhead complex integrations between Salesforce and external systems using middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica) and Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP).
- Data Strategy: Design and implement efficient data models, leveraging SOQL, SOSL, and SQL to handle large-scale data operations.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, fostering technical growth and promoting collaborative problem-solving.
- Performance Optimization: Evaluate and optimize Salesforce environments to ensure high performance, scalability, and security compliance.
- Salesforce Production Support: Take ownership of Salesforce production support, ensuring timely resolution of system issues, performance optimization, and minimal downtime.
- Salesforce Admin Configuration: Perform advanced Salesforce configurations, including workflows, validation rules, security settings, roles, profiles, and custom objects.
- Technical Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and recommend modern tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance Salesforce capabilities.
- Documentation & Governance: Create detailed documentation for designs, processes, and configurations, and enforce governance standards.
Required Qualifications
Technical Expertise:
- Mastery of Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Aura, SOQL, and SOSL.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing solutions using middleware tools for enterprise-level integrations.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for relational database management.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds, including best practices for configuration, administration, and optimization.
- Expertise in Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., Git).
Certifications:
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect (required).
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent experience (preferred).
- Other relevant certifications such as Platform Developer II and Integration Architecture Designer are a plus.
Experience:
- 9+ years of Salesforce development and architecture experience, including enterprise-scale implementations.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions for large, complex organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and deliver projects on time and within scope.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a focus on innovation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership skills to inspire and mentor a team of developers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Familiarity with healthcare processes and Salesforce Health Cloud is a strong plus.
- Middleware Expertise: Advanced knowledge of middleware platforms such as MuleSoft or Dell Boomi.
- Technical Strategy: Experience in creating long-term technical roadmaps and aligning solutions with organizational goals.
