We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with experience in working on machine learning infrastructure and tooling, to help streamline and scale our data science and machine learning workflows.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and reliable ML infrastructure, focusing on data ingestion, training and inference pipelines, active learning, and reproducible data transformations.
  • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for ML training, development, and deployment workflows.
  • Package, test, build, and deploy containers and ML artifacts to ensure efficient, clean, and reproducible ML workflows.
  • Establish best practices for automation, monitoring, and scaling of ML lifecycle steps.
  • Collaborate with ML scientists, engineers, and radiologists to turn research prototypes into production-ready systems.
  • Produce and maintain documentation to support regulatory clearances (FDA, IDE, etc.).

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience, on or adjacent to machine learning engineering teams
  • Proficiency in Python language, tooling, and ecosystem for dependency management, packaging, testing, and deployment of production-quality code (e.g., Poetry, Pytest, Pylint)
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of the mainstream deep learning frameworks and their ecosystem (e.g., for data pre-processing and distributed training) such as Tensorflow and PyTorch
  • Proven experience with CI/CD for automated testing and deployment of ML pipelines and services (e.g., Airflow, Github Actions, Jenkins)
  • Familiarity with a ML workflow platform (e.g., MLFlow, Weights and Biases, SageMaker)
  • An unwavering sense of ownership and collaboration, emphasis on quality and engineering rigor, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with ML and CV packages like TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV.
  • Experience with medical image analysis.
  • Understanding of web development frameworks and microservices (e.g., FastAPI, REST, gRPC).

  • The base salary for this role is $131,000- $197,000 CAD, depending upon experience
